The Disc-Type Ceramic Vacuum Filter is a high-efficiency, energy-saving solid-liquid separation equipment that integrates microporous ceramic technology, ultrasonic cleaning, and PLC automatic control. It operates on the principle of vacuum suction combined with capillary action, achieving exceptional dewatering performance with minimal energy consumption.

This equipment is widely used in mining, metallurgy, chemical processing, environmental protection, and wastewater treatment industries for concentrate dewatering, tailings treatment, and various slurry filtration applications

How It Works

The filtration process follows five distinct stages:

Suction Stage – The ceramic filter plates are immersed in the slurry. Under vacuum pressure and capillary action, solid particles are attracted to the plate surfaces, forming a filter cake, while the filtrate passes through the micropores into the discharge system.

Washing Stage – As the filter cake rotates out of the slurry tank, spray washing is applied to remove impurities.

Drying Stage – The filter cake continues to be dewatered under high vacuum force, achieving low moisture content.

Discharge Stage – When the plates enter a non-vacuum zone, the scraper automatically removes the dry filter cake.

Backwash Stage – Industrial water or filtrate is flushed from the inside out to clean the micropores. After each cycle, ultrasonic waves combined with low-concentration acid ensure thorough regeneration of the ceramic plates.
