The Hollow Paddle Dryer is an energy-efficient, indirect-heat conduction drying system designed for high-moisture materials such as sludge, pastes, and granules.
How It Works
The dryer features two hollow shafts fitted with wedge‑shaped paddle blades. Heating media (e.g., 0.6 MPa saturated steam) flow through both the shaft/blades and the jacketed housing. As the shafts rotate slowly, the paddles continuously mix, break, and convey the material forward while transferring heat directly. The self‑cleaning action of the paddles keeps the heat transfer surfaces clean.
